Conventional procedures were used until a drainage wound was made. After the anal mucosa with a hemorrhoid was detached from the inter sphincter muscle, the hemorrhoid was sealed without ligation of the feeding artery, using the Vessel Sealing System, and resected. Finally, the anal edge of sealed mucosa was sutured one point using absorbable thread to prevent the wound from opening. In all patients, bleeding was minimal and operation time was short. No delay in wound healing was observed. This method has thus been proved a safe and easy technique associated with favorable outcomes, indicating its usefulness during hemorrhoidectomies.}, pages = {136--138}, title = {Vessel Sealing Systemを用いて半閉鎖式痔核根治術を行った9例}, volume = {77}, year = {2007} }
