Ultrasonography was performed every year, but this year a low echoic lesion about 2 cm in diameter was detected, and he was admitted to our hospital for furher examination. Computed tomography and angiography showed a hypervascular lesion in arterial phase. We diagnosed hepatocellular carcinoma and we performed partial hepatectomy. The pathological finding showed a nodular lesion without atypical hepatocytes which grew surrounding the portal-like areas including anomalous vessels and bile ductules. Therefore, we diagnosed it as focal nodullar hyperplasia. The lesion was difficult to differentiate from hepatocellular carcinoma by preoperative imaging alone, and therefore, it may be justified to perform hepatectomy.}, pages = {174--176}, title = {C型慢性肝炎経過観察中に発見された肝限局性結節性過形成の1例}, volume = {75}, year = {2005} }
