A cranial CT revealed a considerably enhanced edematous lesion in the left peri-sylvian region mainly involving the superior temporal gyrus extending to the inferior part of the supramarginal gyrus. Despite no apparent respiratory tract symptoms, a chest X-ray and CT revealed multiple small nodular lesions in both lungs, and the fifth cytological examination of the cerebrospinal fluid disclosed malignant cells, indicating adenocarcinoma.
